On a related note: We mentioned that we were considering taking on another Nekota series, Elektel Delusion, since the releases were extremely slow, but seeing as it was just updated, we’re going to ‘start the clock’ again, as it were, and give it some time to see if it takes as long as it did last time to get another chapter out. DP are doing an awesome job with it, and we don’t want to take on a project that already has an excellent group doing it, so we’ll give it some time for now ^^ Sorry for getting everyone’s hopes up, but watch the DP site for updates if you’re interested.
yay more michiru heya. i say that every time. well i feel spoiled rotton. this influx of quick releases of mheya has got me addicted. i can’t help but check every day for more because i’m hooked on roger and reno. reno is such a cutie. i can’t wait to see if roger tops him. although there may be some who want reno to top, i would personally rather it roger who did.

Given that DP has a track record of finishing their non-licensed projects, leaving the series to them makes sense. That way, you can discover and bring to light other series.

You know … for those disappointed with DP’s progress on their series, have you considered learning Photoshop or GIMP (which is free) and helping them or another group with their releases.
If you are going to complain, then be part of the solution.

So great so fast, thanks a lot… even when Yonezou is such an amazing mangaka… this story seems to be kinda depressing… i don’t like that but the art is just incredible… and that always make me wanna see more… i really like Hidoku Shinaide and Yasashiku shinaide though.

Libre has shown that they use C&D letters to protect their property. September Scanlations is too public to fly under their radar.
Thus, the ones getting converted tend to be from other publishers.
It also means that those groups focusing on older series have less to worry about.
In some ways, that is why I am surprised that there isn’t group focusing on finishing up older series started by other groups.

lol Michiru Heya is a doujinshi (by Nekota herself) of In the God’s Arms. So the setting isn’t just similar—it’s exactly the same XD You can even see the title on the main cover of each chapter.

There’s 12 actually—but they’re all single chapters, so it comes out to about 2 equivalent volumes. I believe she’s still writing—but she usually releases at summer and winter Comiket, and I don’t think a new one came out at winter Comiket this year.
